The Network strives to promote patient education in the dialysis community. It is in the best interest of every patient to be an active participant in his/her health care. The more you know about your treatment and the routine of the dialysis process the more you can be an advocate for yourself. Dialysis staff are frequently asked to do more in less time and with less resources. This can be stressful, and humans are prone to making errors under these conditions.
